Rules

1. Play realistic football.. We all know the game, so play as you would if were a real NFL coach.

2. BE AN ACTIVE OWNER.. Meaning, check Web Page daily in case of any news.. Try and stay active in the Forums, I will check them daily and answer your questions.. I will give two warnings of this and the 3rd time you will be removed from league.. There are too many people wanting to join for me to let a team go without an active owner.. (IF YOU NEED TO BE AWAY, EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW)..

3.You must play 3 games a week.. All games must be reported by the deadlines..

Advance is at 12AM sunday tuesday friday and games must be reported by that time.

If you do not report your score, or get in touch with your opponent and commishioner by the game deadline, your team will be turned over to another user for your opponent to play.. Lets not keep our opponents waiting.. Doing this for two consecutive weeks will get you removed without warning..

4. If you miss concecutive weeks games without informing Commish, you will be removed (pretty much, same as above)..

5. Going for it on 4th.. YOU WILL PAUSE GAME AND INFORM OPPONENT BEFORE TRYING TO CONVERT ANY 4TH. DOWN/TWO POINT CONVERSION.. Lets be realistic on this issue.. You may go for it on all 4th. Downs past the 50 yard line

6. MOVEMENT OF DEFENSIVE PLAYERS..This is the issue I want to address the most.. We have the most controversy on this issue.. There are 3 issues I want to address here..

a. There will be NO movement of the defensive lineman before the snap except in FG/EP situations.. There are no exceptions to this rule..

b. You may only controll ONE defensive player before the snap of the ball.. You may not reposition defensive Linemen, but you may move one man (except for linemen, rule a. above)..

****c. You are only permitted to move a LB 5 yds. maximum into pass coverage (sideline to sideline is fine ) BEFORE THE SNAP.. Anything more is considered cheese.

7. BUMP AND RUN.. You may use bump and run in 1 of 6 defense plays (I personally dont use it).. Dont abuse it, and we all know what I mean.. If I get a complaint about you from two different coaches on this issue, you will removed without warning..

8. THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS ON THE NO HUDDLE OFFENSE..

9. a. Onside kicks are allowed in the 4th. QUARTER ONLY and you must be behind.. Abuse of this will get you removed immediatly.

b. No pouch punts are allowed..

10. Substitutions.. There be some strict rules on subs set forth..

a. There will no subbing of DB's for LB's..

b. There will be no subbing of WR's to DB's and vise versa, unless he is legit (Sanders, Bailey, and etc.)..

c. Keep it real, I dont want to see alot of complaints on WR TE's either.. If you have it on one formation or so thats fine, don't abuse it..

11. NO TRADING WITH CPU

12. A 5 minute break at half time is allowed.. Also, if both aprties agree, the game may be paused, saved and continued at a different time..

13. ANYONE REPORTED AS HARRASSING ANYONE ELSE BY EMAIL OR IN LEAGUE CHAT OR YAHOO MESSENGER WILL BE IMMEDIATLY REMOVED FROM LEAGUE..

14. Do not play games against cpu unless givin permission from commishioner..

15. QB movement.. You will not be allowed to repeatedly drop your QB back 20-30 yds. before attempting to pass.. This is cosidered cheese, and will not be tolerated.. If you are being blitzed, and need to roll out or drop back, thats fine, but when you are not being pressured, and you drop back 20-30 yds. it spreads the defense out too much, its unrealistic.. This will not be allowed any further..

16. Deadline for games.. Games that arent in 1/2 before deadline.. Both coaches must log in league and start by 1/2 hr. before deadline (12am on Sun tues fri).. If you cant make it let me know..

NOONE will play CPU form now on.. If the game isnt played and reported by the deadline, or you arent in game during that time, I will sim the game. The person who didnt show will get the loss, and neither team will receive any injuries..

17. Defending the FG or EP.. You must use a FG block or EP block formation in these situations.. Anything other IS cheese..

18. Running the clock is fine..

If you can think of some other rules youd like to see added, let me know asap.. If you have a problem with a game with someone, pause when it occurs, save a replay then quit and save.. Ill take a look and then make a decision from there.. Without a replay , Ill do nothing..

IF ANYONE HAS ANY OF THESE ISSUES HAPPEN TO THEM, SAVE THE REPLAY, SEND IT TO ME VIA EMAIL.. ALSO POST IT IN THE FORUM, WHO IT WAS, ETC.. MYSELF AND THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS WILL MAKE A DECISION FROM THERE.. YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE WARNING.. IF WE GET A REPORT ON YOU FROM 2 OR MORE COACHES, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM LEAGUE..

* RULE ON Posting trades on league website: Posting trades on here is for when

the trade is going to be final. If a trade is posted on here and accepted it will be

done. If not by you then by the commish. So don't post trades you don't want.

However if a 24 hour period goes by and trading partner has yet to respond then

and only then can you decline the trade. You will have to come back to site and

post a reply declining the trade though if its left open the trade is still open to be done.

Post any Free Agent offers in the league forum. Subject will be NAME and POSITION of the player. The body of the post will contain, NAME, POSITION, OFFER and YOUR SALARY CAP. Anyone may post a counter offer. Higher salary or more years are considered a better offer. No more than three years on the contract! The bidding ENDS on Sundays at 8pm CST (according to the FORUM time stamp!) There is a 15-minute cushion, which prevents last minute bidders at 7:59pm. If someone bids at 7:59 time-stamped in the forum, then any bid posted before 8:14pm is accepted. If one is posted, then any bid before 8:29pm is accepted. There is no limit on Free Agency (except of course the Salary Cap). If you win the bid according to the rules above, I will contact you and give approval for you to sign your free agent. If the player REJECTS the offer, you can up the offer till he signs. If your offer in the forums does not MATCH the salary of the player (meaning you signed him for less than you bid), you will be terminated. If you make a mistake on an offer, resubmit a NEW reply. Anyone who doesn't abide by this rule will be terminated - NO MATTER WHAT NEW!!!! PLEASE READ!!!! Hey everyone heres a way to avoid corrupt files. Its called Auto Saving. When your about to play your game you both save after coin tos. And then if game freezes BOTH people CTR ALT DEL out of the game. And the person who hosted the first time, hosts again when u rejoin after the freeze, and it should work fine. In addition for a trade to be final it has to be posted in the forum and the person your trading with has to reply that he agrees otherwise the person has a right to cancel!!!
